City Milk Plant OJSC No. 2 is one of the largest process industry enterprises of the Republic of Belarus. The enterprise produces whole milk products, soft cheeses, melted cheeses, rennet cheeses, fruit juices, mayonnaise, condensed milk, farm butter. City Milk Plant OJSC No. 2 was built and put in commission in 1965. The plant was built to satisfy the growing requirements of Belarusian metropolitans in dairy products. Estimated capacity of the plant is 300 tons of milk processing per day. It was rated first in the former BSSR on turnout figures. Starting from 1996 the enterprise turned into open joint-stock company. Starting from December 2002 the plant entered the system of public unitary enterprise “Minskgorpischeprom”. Apart from the parent enterprise located in Minsk, the plant comprises the branch of hard cheeses in town of Mezhdurechje, Volozhin district, Minsk region.
